Bayhealth expands COVID-19 testing

MILFORD, Del. – With the ongoing spread of the coronavirus, Bayhealth has expanded dates, times, and locations of drive-thru testing for the virus.

Those with COVID-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath should call the Coronavirus Management Team triage line at 302-310-8477 to be screened. The line is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is staffed by physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers.

Callers who meet the criteria to be tested will be scheduled for one of Bayhealth’s drive-thru testing locations. Officials have added a second testing location and expanded testing to five days a week. Drive-thru testing will take place at Dover Downs in Kent County, and at the Nemours Building on the Bayhealth Sussex Campus.
