Weather Tidbits: Tornado Intensity

Tornado intensity will be the main headline on this Weather Tidbits. The intensity was originally rated by the Fujita Scale which consist of 6 category with winds from 40 mph to 318 mph. However this scale had many setbacks that it focused on damage and not wind, plus it was subjective and sometimes overestimated wind speeds. The Fujita Scale was replaced by the Enchanced Fujita Scale in 2007, which is a modification to the former scale that includes wind speed, damage indicator and degree of damage.
