UPDATE: Suspect arrested in connection to Laurel commercial burglaries
LAUREL, Del. – Delaware State Police and the Laurel Police Department have arrested a man in connection to two commercial burglaries that happened last week.
Both incidents took place during the early morning hours of April 22nd. The first happened at around 1 a.m. at Reese’s Liquor Store, and the second at around 3:30 a.m. at the Exxon in Laurel. Further investigation led police to identify the suspect as 41-year-old Carlton Robinson, formerly of Lake Wales, Florida, and currently reported as homeless.
Robinson was arrested on Monday and charged with two counts of third degree burglary, two counts of theft under $1500, two counts of criminal mischief under $1000, and failure to obey an emergency order. He is currently being held at SCI on $3,750 secured bond.
