Three arrested after police say man accidentally fired handgun

MILLSBORO, Del. – Three people are facing charges after police say they responded to a shots incident near Lynch Road in Millsboro on Monday.

Police say 18-year-old Brandon Jones, 20-year-old Tycere Bryant, and an unidentified 22-year-old woman are facing charges after police say Bryant was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside of a car that all three were occupying.

Police say initially, the three said a car drove by and shot Bryant, but later admitted that Jones accidentally fired a handgun that was inside of the car.

Police say the woman’s one year old child was also in the car at the time of the shooting but was unharmed.

All three are now facing charges.
