Salisbury store offering virtual shopping after moving locations

SALISBURY, Md. – The owner of Barefoot Baby Dreams in Salisbury is doing what she can to keep sales up by enhancing her customers online shopping experience.

Barefoot Baby Dreams used to be located on the Salisbury Plaza, but recently moved to Seagull Square. Owner Martha Ogburn says it’s been a challenging time to move, but she’s found a creative way to keep business going: by virtual shopping.

Ogburn says customers can message the store’s Facebook account, tell her what they’re looking for, and she’ll send pictures or videos of products she have.

She says working alongside customers has been one bright spot throughout these tough times.

“This is, you know I think the silver lining, in this whole Coronavirus pandemic, that people are going to start paying attention to local businesses more,” Ogburn said.

If you want to virtually shop with Barefoot Baby Dreams, you can always visit their Facebook page and send them a message telling them what you’re looking to find.
