Md. flag to fly half-staff through Sunday to honor COVID-19 victims, healthcare workers
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Governor Larry Hogan has ordered the Maryland flag to be lowered at half-staff beginning at noon today, April 30th, and remain there until sunset on Sunday, May 3rd.
This is to honor COVID-19 victims, as well as Fallen Heroes Day on Friday, and Healthcare Heroes Day on Saturday.
“This weekend, please join me in keeping our heroes and our fallen in your hearts, and let us continue to pray for each other, for our state, and for our nation as we face this crisis together,” Hogan said in a statement.
