Layton’s Chance Vineyard & Winery to host virtual run/walk fundraiser

VIENNA, Md. – In Dorchester County, a local business is stepping up to plate to help feed first responders and health care workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Layton’s Chance Vineyard & Winery will be holding a virtual 5K and 10K Walk/Run this upcoming Friday to raise money.
That money will benefit both the Maryland Food Bank and Feed the Front organizations.
Organizers say all people have to do is get out and run all while social distancing.
They say it’s important now more than ever to give people something to do while encouraging them to make a difference in their community.
“Give people something to do, help stay active, and the money is going to split between the Feed the Front Maryland Eastern Shore and the Maryland Food Bank,” said Jennifer Layton, owner, and general manager at Layton’s Chance Vineyard & Winery.
