It’s a boy! Salisbury Zoo announces gender of bear cub

SALISBURY, Md. – One lucky dad got to find out the gender of his baby on Tuesday after months of waiting.

You may remember a baby bear cub was born at the Salisbury Zoo back in Feburary. On Tuesday, zoo workers surprised the papa bear, Pinnochio, with a gender reveal to see if the cub is a boy or a girl. Because cubs stay so close to their moms in the first weeks of life, zoo staff could not tell the gender of the cub, but they have proudly revealed that the baby is a boy.
