Hotel fire under investigation in Talbot Co.
ST. MICHAELS, Md. – Maryland State Fire Marshals are working to determine the cause of a fire that broke out at the St. Michael’s Harbor Inn Monday morning.
The two-alarm fire was reported at around 8 a.m., at the hotel located at 101 N. Harbor Road. The blaze was placed under control in approximately 40 minutes.
Investigators have determined that the fire began in a kitchen storage area, but the cause remains under investigation. Total damage has been estimated at $175,000.
