Harris announces grant to Salisbury health center

WASHINGTON, D.C.- On Thursday, Andy Harris announced the award of a $2,011,138 federal grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), to Three Lower Counties Community Services, Inc. in Salisbury.

We’re told the award is funded through the annual HRSA competitive Health Center Cluster grant project.

“This funding, especially during this pandemic, will continue to allow Three Lower Counties to serve many families in our local communities. As a physician, I am particularly focused on providing access to quality health care for rural families on the Eastern Shore.  I thank the administration for providing this additional financial assistance to our local front line rural medical providers,” Harris said in a statement.
