First COVID-19 related death reported on Virginia’s Eastern Shore


ACCOMAC, Va. – The Eastern Shore Health District is reporting the first coronavirus related death on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

We’re told the woman, in her 70s, was hospitalized and previously tested positive for the virus. Officials with the health district say they are investigating how the individual may have obtained the virus, as they do in all cases to try and prevent the spread of the virus.
