Earth Day and Zoo Stampede 5K canceled

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Zoo announced on Friday that they have canceled their Earth Day and Stampede 5K, scheduled for April 25th.

“We have hosted our Earth Day event for over 30 years and the Stampede for over 20 years. It is with sadness that we will have to cancel them, but the safety of our visitors, sponsors, and staff is most important,” said acting zoo director Leonora Dillon.

The zoo is closed to the public until further notice.
