Delmar mobile home fire ruled accidental

DELMAR, Del. – Delaware Fire Marshals say a fire that damaged a mobile home in the 9000 block of Parker Road in Delmar Thursday morning was accidental.

Firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 7 a.m. State fire investigators were called to the scene a short time later, and through further investigation, determined that the fire was caused by a failure of the structures fixed branch circuit wiring.

Damage has been estimated at $15,000. No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
