Delaware congresswoman responds to hateful zoom hack

DELAWARE – Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester responded to a hateful attack that happened during a zoom call Wednesday.

The call was hosted by the Delaware Legislative Black Caucus for Delaware small businesses.

Blunt Rochester says the purpose of the call was to provide information to business owners in the first state.

She says before they could get into anything, the call was interrupted by someone hateful.

In a youtube video, Blunt Rochester said in part “It was racist, it was sexist, it was immature. My first reaction was not to be upset – my first reaction was that we will not let hate take us down. I think that that is the message right now for this whole epidemic.”
