DE Governor updates state of emergency, bans short-term rentals

DELAWARE- On Monday Governor John Carney updated his State of Emergency, banning all short term rentals and closing more businesses in the state.
The ban on rentals will last until May 15th or until the public health threat has been eliminated. The order does exempt certain Delawareans and essential workers who may need access to short term rental units.
The Governor’s update also places additional restrictions on businesses, banning door to door solicitation and closing pawnshops, video game stores and other electronics retailers.
The updated order takes effect at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
