Cruisin’ Ocean City to host virtual car show

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The popular Cruisin’ Ocean City event is going virtual after organizers postponed Cruisin’s 30th Anniversary to next year due to the pandemic.

Organizers say the virtual show will take place from May 14th to the 16th.

The event will include things like live performances, games and awards.

Cruisin’ Car Show Producer, Bob Rothermel says participants will be able to send pictures of their cars to share with everyone.

As for music, bands will play from their homes and live stream their performances.

Rothermel says they want their fans to still have something to look forward to.

“We felt that doing some sort of virtual event to commemorate the weekend and keep that positive vibe going would be the right thing to do,” said Rothermel.

More information on the virtual car show will be announced in the next few weeks. You can find the latest information on the Cruisin’ Ocean City Facebook page.
