COVID-19: Beebe tests for virus at in-house lab

LEWES, Del. – Beebe Healthcare says they can now run COVID-19 tests in-house. Instead of test results taking days, Beebe says it will only take one to two hours. Since supplies needed for the tests are limited, they’re being done on a case by case basis. This means that Beebe will still utilize the State of Delaware’s labs as well as commercial labs.  The president & CEO of Beebe, Dr. David Tam says this was made possible by state leaders and community members who donated to the COVID-19 Relief Fund.
