Community holds parade to celebrate Salisbury man’s retirement

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury community teamed up on Wednesday to celebrate one man’s retirement.

Cars lined up along Market Street to celebrate Kevin Hayes, who worked at Avery Hall Insurance for 33 years. Employees at Avery Hall say they originally planned to have a big luncheon for Hayes, but since they couldn’t do that, they planned a parade of vehicles instead. Cars honked and waved to celebrate 33 years of hard work and wished Kevin the best in his retirement.
