1280 3d Face Shields

DENTON, Md. – Caroline County Library staff members have been working hard to make face shields for first responders and front-line medical professionals.

We’re told staff members are using the library’s 3D printers while practicing social distancing and working from their homes to make parts for protective face shields. The shields are being distributed through Open Works Baltimore, where they assemble, package, and make the shields available to healthcare providers.

If you’d like to help, you can donate to assist with the purchase of materials for these shields and other planned 3D printed items for medical workers. You can donate online here or by mail to the Caroline County Public Library, 100 Market Street, Denton, MD 21629, ATTN: 3D.
