Baltimore man arrested for assault

SALISBURY, Md. – Police say a Baltimore man is behind held without bond after assaulting his girlfriend during an argument.

Deputies say they responded to the 600 block of Wyman Drive at around 12:40 a.m. Thursday for a reported domestic altercation. On arrival, the deputy met with an arguing couple, observing obvious signs of injury to the female’s face.

Further investigation revealed that 38-year-old Maurice Green punched his girlfriend in the face multiple times with a closed fist. Green was arrested and charged with second degree assault, and is currently being held without bond.
