110 new positive cases, one additional death announced in Delaware

SMYRNA, Del. – Officials in Delaware have confirmed more than 100 additional cases statewide as of Monday afternoon.

In addition, an 84-year-old Kent County man has died as a result of the virus, bringing the state’s death total to 15. We’re told the individual did have underlying health conditions. In the state, individuals who have died from the virus have ranged from age 66 to 94.

The state is now up to a total of 783 lab-confirmed cases. 496 of those cases are in New Castle County, 128 in Kent, and 159 in Sussex County.

At this time, 140 individuals are currently hospitalized, 25 of whom are critically ill. 71 Delawareans have fully recovered from the virus.
