WiHi slugs past Parkside in playoff opener

Salisbury, MD- The WiHi boys basketball team began their 2019-2020 playoffs with a 74-60 victory over rival Parkside.

Both the Tribe and Rams started sloppily, with both teams committing multiple turnovers and missed shots before registering scores three minutes into the game. WiHi would lead 35-28 at the half, and pull away slightly in the second half. Combined, the teams recorded over 25 turnovers.

Tribe sophomore Antwan Wilson scored a game-high 22 points, with teammate Jayson Handy registering 19. For Parkside, JaKai Spence finished with 16.
