Wicomico Co. officials reminding public of playground, recreational space closures

SALISBURY, Md. – With the weather improving over the last couple of days, Wicomico County officials are reminding the public to heed closures of county playgrounds, pavilions, tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball courts, and beaches.

Day use areas at parks, trails, marinas, and boat ramps will remain accessible at this time, however visitors must follow gathering and social distancing guidelines from the CDC.

We’re told that enhanced patrols will be in effect to monitor activity at county parks.
