Weather Tidbits: Wind Basics

Today’s Weather Tidbits focuses on how the wind blows. Wind is moving air caused by differences in air pressure, that typically moves from high to low pressure. The closer the systems are to each other, the stronger the winds. The winds also curve due to the Coriolis effect, which is caused by the earth’s rotation, making it curve to the right in the northern hemisphere.
