HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police arrested two people on drug charges after responding to a suspicious vehicle complaint last week.

Officers say they were called to a business on Clark Street during the afternoon hours on March 2nd, for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot possibly involved in drug transactions. When police arrived, employees told them that four subjects had gotten out of the vehicle and walked into the business. Police then went into the business and asked all four to exit the building, when one of the subjects, 31-year-old Hunter Rockwell took off running towards another part of the building.

Rockwell was quickly taken into custody, and a K-9 search of the area where he ran resulted in the discovery of 10.6 grams of methamphetamine that he tried to hide. He was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia and 4 suboxone strips.

Another subject, 28-year-old Tiffany Harris, was found in possession of 5 Alozopram pills. 0.5 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. It was also learned that she had an active warrant out of Delaware State Police for unrelated charges.

Rockwell was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Harris was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, and was also released on her own recognizance.
