Two arrested following drug investigation in Kent Co.

MAGNOLIA, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested two men after investigating the distribution of illegal drugs.

The investigation, involving 26-year-old Quavaughn Williams and 19-year-old Jaquan Lewis, wrapped up on Tuesday with the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Millchop Lane in Magnolia. Both were present at the residence when officers arrived, as well as two children.

During the search, 382 ecstasy pills, 5.59 grams of MDMA, various drug paraphernalia, and more than $9,000 in suspected drug money were located and seized.

Williams was charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity, possession with intent to deliver controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released on $82,200 unsecured bond.

Lewis was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.
