Top wrestlers shine in DIAA individual championships

LEWES, De- 14 of the best high school wrestlers in the state of Delaware etched their names in history on Saturday night at the DIAA wrestling individual state championships at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes.

The Henlopen Conference placed eight state champions, with Smyrna High School accounting for four. Winners are listed below:

120 lbs- Jack Thode, Milford

126 lbs- Ethan Gray, Caravel

132 lbs- Willem Carl, Middletown

138 lbs- Alex Poore, Caravel

152 lbs- Jackson Dean, Caesar Rodney

160 lbs- Nick Hall, Caravel

170 lbs- Andre Currie, Cape Henlopen

182 lbs- JT Davis, Smyrna

195 lbs- Azeem Bell, A.I. duPont

220 lbs- Hugo Harp, Smyrna
