Tonight will have a partly to mostly cloudy sky with comfortable temperatures. Temperatures may drop into the 50s before climbing back into the 60s after midnight as a warm front lifts north.
Friday will be partly sunny, breezy, and very warm with highs soaring into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Some record highs could break. A powerful cold front swings through Delmarva Friday night, bringing scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm.
Temperatures fall behind the front on Saturday with highs in the low to mid 50s. We’ll start the day with mostly cloudy skies and then some clearing is expected by the afternoon. Chilly temperatures are in store for Sunday with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s under partly to mostly sunny skies.
Cloudy skies and rainy conditions are in the forecast for Monday with cool highs in the low 50s. Partly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures return on Tuesday as temperatures reach the mid to upper 50s. Wednesday will see mostly cloudy skies and a chance for rain. Highs will be in the upper 50s.
Thursday will be mostly sunny and warmer as highs climb into the 60s.
NOTE: The record highs to beat for Friday March 20, 2020 are 82° in Salisbury set back in 1948 and 83° in Georgetown set back in 1945.
