The Salisbury Moose Lodge’s “Spring For A Vet” Fundraiser is back for it’s 5th year

SALISBURY, Md. — The Salisbury Moose Lodge is kicking off it’s 5th Annual “Spring For A Vet” Fundraiser.

47 ABC’s Erica Murphy was joined by the Salisbury Moose Lodge’s junior governor,  Gregg Bridges, to tell us about the event.

The Salisbury Moose Lodge is a group that aims to improve the support of local veterans here on the Eastern Shore.

This is the 5th year the Salisbury Moose Lodge is holding this fundraiser. Bridges says 100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to organizations on the Eastern Shore to help local veterans. Some of the organizations they have donated to in the past include the VFW, Smiles For Vets and Operation We Care.

Bridges says there will be silent and live auctions, a raffle for a homemade quilt, and an all you can eat dinner. The dinner includes Dayton’s Fried Chicken and Dumplings, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, coleslaw and a roll. There will also be a cash bar.

The event takes place on Sunday March 15th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 833 Snow Hill Road.

Tickets are $15 a person and will be available at the door.

For more information on tickets and the event you can call the Salisbury Moose Lodge at 410-546-4633.
