Somerset County reports first COVID-19 case

SOMERSET COUNTY, Md. – The Somerset County Health Department says the first positive case of COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus, has been reported in the county.

Health officials say the individual is a woman in her 60s who is in good condition and isolating at home. They are now conducting an investigation to determine if anyone could have possibly been exposed.

Health officials are also reminding everyone to stay home if possible, and to call your primary care doctor if you’re experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, body aches, and shortness of breath.
