Somerset Co. Library closing for two weeks

SOMERSET, CO., Md. – In an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus, Somerset County Library officials say the library will be closing for two weeks.

This closure will be in effect from March 16th through 28th.

The library will remain open today and tomorrow, March 13th and 14th, with modified services. All programs for the next two days have been canceled, as well as programs for the next two weeks. Officials will not be able to provide one-on-one assistance with computers, and patrons are asked to sanitize stations after use. In addition, the limit on checkouts has been raised, and the rental period on DVDs has been increased to 21 days.
