Seaford man arrested on drug charges

SEAFORD, Del. – A two month long investigation into the sale of illegal drugs resulted in one arrest on Thursday.

A search warrant was executed at an apartment in the 500 block of Woodland Mills Drive, in the Woodland Mills Apartment Complex. A search of the apartment led to the discovery of 220 bags of heroin and a large amount of money believed to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.

The target of the investigation, 22-year-old Daquan Lake, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.

He was held at SCI on $11,500 secured bail and two violation of probation warrants.
