Police charge Bridgeville man with attempted murder in Seaford shooting

SEAFORD, Del. – A suspect is now in custody in connection with a shooting at a local bar Friday night. Police say 64- year-old Rafael Pena-Suarez allegedly shot a 41-year-old man around 10:30 PM after an altercation at “The Woodshed.” The victim was taken to a local area hospital where he’s said to be in stable condition. There were no other reported injuries. Investigators add that following a search warrant Sunday on Rifle Range Road in Bridgeville, Pena-Suarez was taken into custody. He’s now facing a slew of charges including attempted murder in the first degree and possession of a firearm.
