Open For Business: Eastern Shore Coffee and Water
MARYLAND – Eastern Shore Coffee and Water is offering a pick-up and delivery option for bottled water since some stores are having a hard time keeping shelves stocked during the coronavirus.
The Salisbury based business tells 47 ABC they’re not experiencing any problems because they get water directly from suppliers with their own fleet of trucks. To make things easy, the company is scheduling pick up locations in certain places across the Salisbury and Ocean City area, a few times a week. They don’t normally offer this type of service but they say they saw a need in their local community and knew they could help.
“On Friday we received an email from our website of a gentleman who needed distilled water for his CPAP machine. He has sleep apnea and he needed distilled water and couldn’t find it. The Walmarts were out in the area and so were local drug stores so I gave him my cell phone number and I offered to meet him at our office,” says Sarah Chandler, the sales manager for Eastern Shore Coffee and Water.
The company’s next pick up is scheduled for Thursday, March 26th from 2 pm to 6 pm in the parking lot of the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce. They will have multi-gallon jugs available as well as cases of spring, purified and distilled water. You can also visit their Salisbury warehouse location for pickups as well. Payment in cash, credit or debit are required.
