Open For Business: A Comfy Pet Grooming Salon

MILTON, Del. – During these tough times, small businesses are being hit harder than ever, ‘A Comfy Pet Grooming Salon’ says they’re keeping their doors open as long as they can.

Owner, Mary LeCates tells 47ABC that they’ve downsized their operation since the virus spread. Lecates says they try to keep people from congregating in the grooming salon.

Nicole, the assistant store manager and groomer, reminds fellow Delawareans that they have families to provide for, and bills to pay. She says we need to support each other now more than ever.

In order to keep the shop clean, the LeCates say they wipe everything from the doorknobs to where the dogs walk so their pads will stay clean.

They say the hardest part for them to overcome are the cancellations, especially after minimizing their operation and schedule.

A Comfy Pet Grooming Salon is located on Federal Street in Milton, Delaware.
They’re open from 8 am- 5 pm Monday through Saturday.
