Library offering resources to aid with in-home learning

SALISBURY, Md. – With thousands of students now learning from home, the Wicomico County Public Library System is doing what they can to help.

The library says they want to remind every student in Wicomico county that they automatically have a library card.

With that card, students can access books and other learning materials on the library’s website.

Sam Gibson with the library tells 47 ABC that while some of the programs existed before, the library has upped their game in order to help students in the best way possible.

“We have our Gale Courses, we have Brain Fuse, we have Tumble Books, which are all great resources for in home learning and online learning, and they’re all free with a library card and every student in Wicomico county has a virtual library card,” Gibson said.
