Lewes United Methodist Churches postpone all services, activities until May

LEWES, Del. – Lewes United Methodist Church has announced precautionary measures to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in their communities.

All physical morning and afternoon worship services, prayer worship, Bible studies, small group studies, and meetings have been postponed until May 9th. This includes Lewes United Methodist Faith & Israel Churches.

Beginning March 29th, worship services will be held via Facebook Live every Sunday starting at 10 a.m. In addition, Bible studies, small group studies, and prayer service will be held via conference call or ZOOM.

A Blessing Box will be located outside of Faith United Methodist Church in Rehoboth and will be stocked with non-perishable items for anyone who would like to receive a blessing. The Faith Soup Kitchen at Faith United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall will be open every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for carry-outs only.
