KENT CO., Md. – Maryland State Police say a Kent County teacher has been arrested on sex offense charges involving a teenager.
According to police, 29-year-old Brittney Lyles was arrested on Friday following an investigation launched by police on March 4th. Preliminary investigation revealed that the alleged offenses occurred in February of this year, while Lyles was working as a teacher at the Kent County Alternative School Program.
Police say the alleged actives took place between Lyles and a 17-year-old male, however, it has been determined that none of the activities took place on school property.
