DOVER, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health has announced the confirmation of the eighth positive case of coronavirus in the state.

We’re told the patient is a New Castle County woman who is over the age of 50. She is not severely ill and is self-isolated at home at this time. It is reported that she was exposed to a positive case in another state.

Epidemiologists from the Division of Public Health say the patient has minimal close contacts in the state, and that they are working to identify anyone who was possibly exposed.
