Indian River School District announces changes to meal service program
SELBYVILLE, Del. – Following Governor Carney’s recent stay-at-home order during the coronavirus outbreak, the Indian River School District has announced several changes to its meal service program during the school closure.
Starting on Monday, March 30th, grab and go meals will be served at the following locations only:
- Indian River High School (front entrance)
- Phillip C. Showell Elementary (parent pick-up)
- Millsboro Middle School (bus parking lot)
- Georgetown Elementary School (front entrance)
- North Georgetown Elementary (bus parking lot)
- Long Neck Elementary (bus parking lot)
Meals will be offered at those locations from 10:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Meals are free of charge and available to children 18 and under. Students will receive two meals on Monday and Wednesday, and three meals on Friday.
