UPDATE: Gold Alert canceled, missing Georgetown teen found

3/12 UPDATE: Delaware State Police have canceled the Gold Alert for 18-year-old Averell Balfour.

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for a missing Georgetown teenager.

We’re told that 18-year-old Averell Balfour was last seen in the Georgetown area at around 7 p.m. Monday evening. He is 5’3″, 153 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark gray/black shirt and blue pajama pants.
