Frederica man arrested on drug charges following traffic stop
DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested a Frederica man Monday evening after he was found with drugs during a traffic stop.
At around 6:40 p.m., troopers stopped a vehicle on Webbs Lane after observing the driver not wearing their seat belt. Police say one of the front seat passengers, 20-year-old Thomas Hoskins, was a known gang member. A bag was found on the front floor by Hoskins, containing 43.39 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Hoskins was arrested and charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, felony illegal gang participation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released on $6,100 unsecured bond.
The driver was issued a traffic citation and released with the other two passengers.
