HARRINGTON, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of one and injured two others Wednesday evening.

The driver of the Buick, identified as 37-year-old Charles Garland Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Honda, a 36-year-old Denton woman, was properly restrained and was taken to Christiana Hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries. A 7-year-old child who was sitting in the backseat was also properly restrained and was taken to A.I. DuPont Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
