Easton St. Patrick’s Day Parade canceled

EASTON, Md. – Easton officials announced on Facebook Thursday afternoon that the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Potato Race scheduled for March 17th has been canceled.

“This is a very difficult call for us, as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of our favorite events each year, however the enjoyment of the parade was not worth putting the 2,000+ people that either attend or participate in the parade each year at risk,” Discover Easton said in the post.

“We are terribly sorry for those that were looking forward to participating or attending this year’s parade, and hope to welcome you have to future events in downtown Easton.
