Designer’s Edge hair salon remains open amid Coronavirus outbreak
SALISBURY, Md. – People across the state of Maryland are in self quarantine and many businesses have closed their doors as the Coronavirus continues to spread county to county. But one place that’s still open? Designer’s Edge.
The spa side of the salon closed on Tuesday to keep employees and clients safe. But the hair salon side is still open.
Owner Teena Twilley tells 47 ABC it is optional for stylists to work right now and if they choose not to, the salon will work with clients to reschedule appointments.
But for those stylists who do still have clients coming in, Twilley says the salon is doing their part to keep everyone safe and healthy.
“We currently have hospital grade disinfectant, we have wipes, we have alcohol, we have hand sanitizer, between each client we are actually washing down the stations, the shampoo bowls,” she said.
Designer’s Edge is also keeping customers informed on Facebook and anyone can check back there for any closure updates.
