Delmar house fire under investigation
DELMAR, Md. – Maryland fire officials are investigating a fire that heavily damaged a Delmar home late Sunday night.
The Delmar Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze shortly after midnight, at a home on S. Maryland Avenue. The two alarm fire was under control in approximately one hour.
Investigators have determined that the fire began on a side porch, but the cause is still unknown at this time. Total damage has been estimated at $200,000.
