Del. homeless shelters limit beds during coronavirus outbreak

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Some of Delaware’s homeless shelters are limiting their beds to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

We’re told that the Crisis House in Georgetown is now housing eight people and are not taking any more. The Salvation Army’s shelter for women and children in Wilmington is also no longer taking new clients.

However, some emergency shelters are prolonging stays for some people due to the current shape of the economy.
