CORONAVIRUS: 3 Marylanders contracted virus from Egyptian cruise

47ABC – Maryland Governor Larry Hogan says all three Marylanders contracted the Coronavirus from an Egyptian cruise on the Nile river. The World Health Organization says this is the same ship where 12 workers were placed in a 14-day quarantine.
The 3 confirmed coronavirus cases are linked to 6 confirmed cases in Texas.
During Hogan’s conference, he says an investigation found two cases of public interaction that require public notification.
One of the infected people attended an event at The Village at Rockville, a retirement community located in Rockville, Maryland. The person came into contact with 75 to 100 people.
The second instance involves another infected person attending an event in the Philadelphia area. Hogan says that the infected person came into contact with staff and students in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a result, officials have shut down five schools in that area.
