Cambridge man sentenced to 13 years in federal prison on drug and gun charges

BALTIMORE, Md. – A Cambridge man will spend more than a decade behind bars on federal charges of conspiracy to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

44-year-old Takii Smith was convicted on the above charges back in January, following an investigation in early 2018. Smith has been sentenced to 13 years in federal prison, followed by four years of supervised released.
