Newly acquired Calais Campbell marvels at Lamar Jackson, Ravens culture

SALISBURY, Md- 5-time Pro Bowl defensive end Calais Campbell spoke with area reporters via phone on Thursday and noted a number of reasons he was elated to join the Ravens franchise.

“My main goal is winning,” Campbell said during the conference call. “I was more confident in going to Baltimore even if I had to take less (money).” “You can tell there’s a culture that’s very infectious,” the 33-year old stated. “A lot of the guys care about each other and they have a strong bond.”

The University of Miami product was acquired on March 19th from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a 5th round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
